South Africa were the best team no doubt in this match, but as a series overall? I think England deserved it to be honest although I am a little biased of course.

People are saying it was South Africa that capitulated rather than England outplaying them, but I don't see it that way.

it was a good series and a lot more evenly matched than what a lot of people expected, and as an England fan, that gives me a lot of hope for the future.

England's batting in this series was propped up by Root, Bairstow and Stokes. That trio combined to score 1,156 runs at an average of 60.84. Cook, Hales, Compton, Taylor and Moeen Ali combined to score just 867 runs between them at an average of 24.77.
