What a spell of bowling from Rababa before lunch. England are in deep trouble at 232/6. Young Rabada has all the makings for a superstar. I would love to see a fully fit Steyn bowling in tandem with Rabada. I know there was some concerns about Rabada's workload, but it is tough not to throw him the ball given his undeniable talents.

Rabada has six. He has the big wicket of Stokes. A great line and length with the new ball and Amla gleefully snaffles a simple catch in the slips. England in a world of trouble. 252/7.

Abbott goes off the field injured, Duminy is brought on to replace him, bowls two rank long hops, a full toss, and then finds the edge of Woakes' bat. Just as England were starting to recover. 295/8.

England all out for 342. Moeen Ali last man out for a valuable 61. Rabada finishes with 7 wickets. I hope his arm doesn't fall off in the near future. He has been overbowled and overworked.

Cook a lucky boy there. Offered no shot at a straight one from Mo, but the ball just missed clipping the stumps. Players have now come off for bad light. An excellent day for South Africa. They lead by 175 with 9 wickets remaining.

Slow and steady going from South Africa this morning. They have pushed their lead over 300, although have done so at a rather pedestrian rate. I am a little surprised that they haven't tried to up their run rate, giving themselves more overs to bowl England out.

Amla is on course for another century. It looks as though he has re-discovered his form.

South Africa lead by 356 runs with 6 wickets remaining

I think a lead of 356 is plenty on this pitch, but South Africa may well look to push that lead up to 400 before declaring. Perhaps bat 10 more overs after tea which would then leave themselves 110 overs to bowl England out.

Depending what batting side turn up for England, I very much doubt that South Africa will need 110 overs to bowl England out, and while I wouldn't say they just want to come home now, from the start of this last test with the series already won, I think the England team have played like they've had one eye on the airport.
