For those that didn't get to see it live, video of McCullum's final Test innings can be seen below:

James Pattinson's spell was unreal. He bowled at some serious pace and had the ball not only reversing, but reversing late. True to himself, McCullum lived by the sword and died by the sword, even in his final innings. Fitting that his last scoring shot was a six. An entertainer, right down to the last ball faced.

Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

His second innings was totally irresponsible. Kane, in contrast, is batting as per the situation demands.

my point exactly he's always looking for the big smash rather than to bat responsibily. I believe it was Cal who compared him to Warner but Davey's game has evolved

“Let me take this opportunity to congratulate Brendon…(I’ve) been a great fan of yours for

many years. Well done on your achievement

“And if there was going to be an individual who you would’ve liked to have surpassed

whatever you would’ve achieved in life, certainly it would be you.

You’re one of those individuals who help to put bums on seats.

Long may that continue. Well done, man,”

He taught us to be humble and understand that there's more to life than a win or a loss. He brought back the old-school mentality where, if you happened to win, you invite the opposition into the sheds for a beer, or if you lost, make an effort to go to the opposition dressing room and do the same .....
