Watching this now during the lunch break at the Wanderers and shocked to see the Stars slumping at 24/5 chasing 189 to win. Badree is on a hat-trick and has a 5-for with still one over left to bowl.

Edit: Badree doesn't get a hat-trick, but finishes with figures of 5 for 22 from his 4 overs. This one's done. The Stars need 159 more runs to win with just 5 wickets in hand at more than 12 runs an over.

Double header yesterday .... Sydney Thunder beat the Sixers and in the other match I honestly don't know what happened to the Scorchers.  It was unbelievable !!!

A cracking cameo innings from Brad Hodge gets the Strikers up to 170/5. Chris Gayle and the Renegades need to chase down this target in 15.5 overs if they are to advance. That is going to be a real tough ask.

What a start from Chris Gayle! He pastes young Greg West for four consecutive monster sixes. 27/0 from the first over. That has given the Renegades a great platform to start with.

Oh my word. Gayle has 40 off 9 balls with 6 sixes!!

Gayle has just equaled Yuvraj Singh's record for fastest T20 fifty. He has faced 12 balls and scored 51 runs with 7 sixes. But Cameron White goes two balls later. 60/2 from 3.3 overs. This is going to be some finish. Bravo now joins Gayle in the middle.

Bravo goes first ball and Head is on a hat-trick. It is all going on. What a game!

I reckon Bravo got caught up in the Gayle excitement ......shame as could've been a Bravo/Gayle show !!!
