Sri Lanka has enforced the follow on and the West Indies are about 170 runs behind with 8 wickets in hand. Sri Lanka will win this first test match comfortably unless the rain intervenes and save the West Indies.

Once again Marlon Samuels has failed with the bat as a senior player in this team! He didn't even manage to get one half century on this batsman friendly  pitch as demonstrated by the Sri Lankan top order.
