Well if he can take this mediocre team and actually start to avoid losing so many games then he could be a nominee for one of the better captains. All the odds suggests that he will fail so it is up to him.

There have been intermittent rains in the days preceding this match, but Galle has produced its usual tawny-coloured surface, on which there should be plenty of turn as the game wears on. There may also be a little movement in the air with the new ball, with all the wet weather around.
