The West Indies tour of Sri Lanka 2015 was officially launched at a media conference held at Taj Samudra hotel on Tuesday evening.  The two-match Test series will be named after two great cricketers,and captains of the past Sir Garfield Sobers of West Indies and Michael Tissera of Sri Lanka. West Indies will play two Tests, three ODIs and two T20Is during their tour.

"He was one of the greatest to play the game and he still makes a major contribution to the game.

Only recently he joined us in Barbados and wished everyone the very best for this tour of Sri Lanka.

I think Sobers would stand a better chance of winning this trophy with a team of former players from the 80s and 90s than this current young generation of players.  8)

The only thing that matters are the T20 world cups.

And these world cups include all full members plus a lot of associates.

So is not like WI have to qualify.

WI currently have players who are vastly more experienced than Holder in T20s so making him captain would not IMO be a good move.

However the WICB do as they please so it would not surprise me if a month before the world cup they make Kraigg Brathwaite T20 captain.
