Dear Sir ,

As you take the office of director of cricket development for the west Indies , I draw your attention to a player

who can help us move forward with a special batting skill set .

Having been maligned by the former administration with complicity from your current Head Coach :

Ramnaresh Sarwan was left by the wayside after equalling Sir Viv Richards highest TEST score of 291.

It is a disgrace to Cricketers the world over.

Send Sarwan to India, NOW !

He surpassed his previous Test-best of 261 not out, against Bangladesh at Kingston in 2004,

and equalled the career-best of one IVA Richards, whose finest hour also came against England,

at The Oval in 1976 !

Sarwan has had many chances and has failed.

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
