I listened to an interview by Joshua Da-Silva where he said that it was cool seeing Mckensie receive his test cap. One thing that he said that shocked me though is that Kirk is the tenth person he has seen get his cap since he Da Silva made his debut. Note that DaSilva made his debut only 2 and a half years ago and has only played 24 test matches yet he has seen 10 people make their debut in that span. Yes this was during Covid and on the tour of a Bangladesh for example some like Holder and others opted out. But 10 does seem like a whole lot for any team. Yet we continue not to do well. I tried to do some research to fact check him. These are the ten I came up with. Chelae Holder made his debut with Da Silva in that test against New Zealand as well so technically it’s 12 if you count Da Silva in the last 2 and a half years
Jeremy Solozano
Jayden Seales
Kyle Mayers
Nkrunner Bonner
Marquino MINDLEY
Anderson Phillip
Devon Thomas
Tagenarine CHANDERPAUL
ALICK ATHANAZE
Kirk Mckensie
When we look at this list some only played one test and are no longer in or around the squad. These include Solazono who never even got to bat as he got hit, Devon Thomas who is now facing corruption charges, Chema Holder, Anderson Phillip and Marquino Mindley. McKenzie just made his debut.
Of the 12 those that look like they have a future are Da Silva, Athanze, Seales and Chanderpaul and maybe Mckensie.
Others like Mayers and Bonner have been dropped while holder, Mckensie and Mindley have not been a part of the set up for a while.
What are your thoughts? Is this a good sign? Have these people been given a fair chance? Should we be looking for new people still or just developing these debutantes? Are any of these debutantes worth going back to?

The West Indies T-20 has announced and it’s blatantly obvious of Motie ‘s omission from the squad.
Why ?

Error of their ways is obvious
India play 3 spinners
They sabotaged Motie and Sinclair
as Guyanese by playing 1 spinner
