Young Chanderpaul heading to Australia!
The Cricket West Indies (CWI) Selection Panel today named the Men’s Test squad for the upcoming series in Australia.
West Indies will be under the leadership of Kraigg Brathwaite and will face the hosts in two Test matches at the Perth Stadium (30 November to 4 December) and the Adelaide Oval (8 to 12 December).
The Selection Panel named one newcomer in Tagenarine Chanderpaul, the left-handed opening batter, and recalled two experienced players in all-rounder Roston Chase and middle-order batter Shamarh Brooks.
FULL SQUAD: Kraigg Brathwaite (Captain), Jermaine Blackwood (Vice Captain), Nkrumah Bonner, Shamarh Brooks, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Roston Chase, Joshua Da Silva, Jason Holder, Alzarri Joseph, Kyle Mayers, Anderson Phillip, Raymon Reifer, Kemar Roach, Jayden Seales and Devon Thomas.

Tagenarine Chanderpaul, the son of former batsman Shivnarine,
has earned his maiden call-up to West Indies' senior side for the two-match
Test series in Australia in November-December.
Tagenarine, who was picked as a reserve batter for the home series against Bangladesh earlier this year, is expected to open the batting alongside
captain Kraigg Brathwaite.!

Since shivnarine chanderpaul win cpl title as coach his son get call up to play for the west indies team and shiv soon get call to coach west indies team just time ⌚

Like his father, Tagenarine has shown the propensity to be watchful
and patient at the crease, which could bode well for the regional team.
The batsman, however, is hoping to eventually be recognized for his own style.
"I try and be myself. I can't replicate him, so I can only be myself.
Fingers crossed… I'll try to get some runs if I'm selected."
