Difficult selection

Gudakesh Motie has been by far a more successful bowler than Akeem Hosein but Motie was neither selected for Bangladesh nor has he been selected to play against Shri Lanka. Ravi Rampaul has picked up from where he left off all those years ago, including picking up 4 wickets in the Super50 finals but has not been selected to play against Shri Lanka. The bias against him continues; a bias that sent him to play cricket in England where he was highly successful.. They claim Shimron Hetmyer is unfit yet he scored a century in the semi finals of the Super50 and a half century prior. And what else does Cornwall have to do to be included in white ball cricket? Besides being probably the best spinner around, he's probably the only thinking bowler in the West Indies and his batting can be devastating in white ball cricket. He also proved that he's a match winner in Bangladesh. As long as this kind of crap continues in Windies cricket nothing much will change.

Looking at Hetmyer situation I believe the time has come for West Indies to out source the the selection process to some Australian or English men who knows no one and therefore not saddled with insularity and nepotism
