This series is also an opportunity for West Indies to go past Bangladesh in the Test rankings. Bangladesh are currently in eighth position with 75 points, with West Indies ninth on 72 points. A win for the home side will see them overtake Bangladesh, while a drawn series will maintain the status quo. Bangladesh will remain in the eighth spot even if they win 2-0, though they will narrow the gap with seventh-ranked Pakistan.

Hetmyer and Paul should be in the playing xi instead of Smith and Cummins.... the guy went 5 innings without a single wicket, Smith came back( yet again) and averaged 15 across 6 innings....seriously?

Shimron Hetmyer has returned from illness with a century against the touring Bangladeshis last week. He could be called up if West Indies want to strengthen their batting. Keemo Paul is a fast-bowling option, but it is likely that the Roach-Gabriel-Holder-Cummins foursome will not be tinkered with.

11:41am 43 all out !! Bangladesh's lowest ever total in Tests.
For the most part, it was a performance as embarrassing as the total.
But that would take away from Kemar Roach, who persisted with some great lines
as Bangladesh's openers had put up a moderately good defence in the first half hour.

Chanderpaul suffered the injury while playing a shot in the nets on Tuesday.

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
