I will have failures and every player has that failure,” he added, as reported by Cricbuzz. He also spoke on how he had almost squandered his opportunity to get the ton on Wednesday. “I was thinking that I had messed up a great opportunity to score a hundred. Thank god it didn’t carry and [Mohammed ] Hafeez told me to stop. It was a great feeling to get back and get that hundred,” he concluded.

In the 37th over, a peach of an indipper from Dushmantha Chameera took his inside edge, when he was on 89
and settled in the wicketkeeper's gloves. Imam whipped around to watch it happen and began shuffling off
the field well before he was adjudged out. The on-field umpires, however, asked him to wait as he made his
inconsolable trek back to the dressing room, saying they wanted to check the legality of the catch.
With each passing replay it seemed a little bit of the ball had touched the ground before Dickwella had taken it.
The big screen finally flashed "not out".
Both the Abu Dhabi crowd and Imam himself heaved a sigh of relief.
And he knocked off the remaining 11 runs without further trouble to soak in all the emotion

Chanderpaul suffered the injury while playing a shot in the nets on Tuesday.

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
