This is sad and the player should be ashamed of all the 10 charges that he has been convicted upon. Fixing a match? Why do this when you have talent to prove it and win the game in the fair way? This is the reason why dad hates this game. :-\

this is an example of what TD wud call Idealism..boundless ::confused::  we doh know yet ::)

as far as I see it all crooked.  the cricket administrations are far more crooked than any player but they have the law book in their hands.  indeed they wrote the dam law book

so when the players fix a game they shud not get caught.  dat shud be their basic aim...'dont get caught'

the administrations have cornered the market on corruption, protected themselves within the 'law' and exploit the game mercilessly, fatten their own pockets beyond the players take and they contribute nutten at all to the creation of the wealth they exploit.

the players are left with other far more risky options to make money for themselves..as the real money in the game, the money they generate, has been cornered by the admins.  and as if to keep the players in their place the admins levy penalty on the players when caught that are nutten short of draconian...taking away their livelihood permanently.

UNFAIR AND SICK IS WHAT I CALL IT, HIGHWAY ROBBERY WHEN THE ROBBERS, THE HIGHWAYMEN ARE THE LAW ITSELF.

THE ONLY ANSWER TO THIS CATCH 22 FOR THE PLAYERS IS TO TAKE OVER THE DAM GAME.

THE PLAYERS ARE THOSE WHO WHO GENERATE ALL THE WEALTH IN THE GAME, NOT THE FAT ASS ADMINS SITTING ON TOP OF THE GAME, DRAWING FAT SALARIES FOR DOING ABSOLUTELY NUTTEN SAVE TRYING TO ENSLAVE THE PLAYERS TO CONFINE THEM TO THE LABOUR THAT PRODUCES THE WEALTH TO ENSURE THEIR FAT NUMERATION

AS SUCH THEN THE PLAYER HAS NO ALTERNATIVE...MUST TAKE OVER CRICKET AND ESTABLISH PLAYER CO-OPS THAT ACTUALLY RUN AND ADMINISTER THEIR OWN  SPORT DOMESTICALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY.

THAT IS WHAT PLAYERS CAN DO AND MUST DO IF CRICKET IS TO BECOME SANE AGAIN AND FAIR AND TO ABOLISH 'FIXING' FROM THE GAME.

WELL PAID FINALLY FROM THEIR OWN SWEAT AND LABOUR, THE PLAYERS WOULD HAVE NO NEED TO 'FIX' ANY DAM THING.  AND IF THEY DO THEN PUNISHMENT BY THEIR PEERS IN DEMOCRATIC COOPERATION WOULD BE JUSTIFIED, SEEN AS JUSTIFIED AND KNOWN TO BE JUSTIFIED

the OZ players are right to demand a greater share of the profits...but that is a step towards complete take-over of cricket by the players, killing need for any dam bureau on top the cricket that has nothing to do with playing the friggin game..just push useless paper around all day long...

why shud a body like this command upwards of 70% of the revenues generated by the players.  and they are everywhere in the cricket..in all nations and internationally in the ICC..where they concoct fantasies of world power by demanding that their game is inviolate from politics and that no nation has the right to intervene in how the game is run and managed anywhere and everywhere..no matter how poor that administration is..like in the west indies currently

they claim that politics in sports are anathema, that even if the cricket is falling down no national government has the right to intervene, and they trot out fools like the Antigua PM with his childish defense of democracy to keep CARICOM out the cricket and to protect CWI

Perhaps the most perplexing aspect of AT&T Stadium, otherwise known as “Jerry World,” is the glare from the sun that bursts through the windows and shines directly onto the field. Time and time again the glare has impacted players’ visibility during games, yet Jerry Jones refuses to make any changes to account for the sun.

Rather than install curtains, Jones has previously said he feels it’s a home-field advantage to have that type of stadium factor impacting games. Well, the glare ended up benefitting the Chiefs early into Thursday’s Thanksgiving game, as a pass from Dak Prescott to George Pickens fell incomplete, at least in part due to the impact of the sun’s glare.

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team. Let us hope that this effort by West Indies batsmen would not be a one-off performance, but will be the beginning of a renewed effort to improve the performances of the team, going forward.(13.10.2025, 09:28)(09:28)0

WarrenJameis Winston is asked about being named QB3 on the Giants' roster behind Russell Wilson and Jaxson Dart:

"As a competitor, you want to be the starter. But I prepare to be the starter, I know I'm a starter in this league.

But you have to be able to be grateful for your role...my role right now is to assist Russ and Jaxson to be the best that they can be while preparing to be the best that I can be.

No matter if I'm 3, 33, this is my first year being number 19, so it's always a first for everything.

I focus on what I would love. And what I would love is for this team to have success."
