Allrounder Jason Holder has put West Indies' loss in the first T20 against Pakistan largely down to the unfamiliarity factor.

"We need to just sit down and work out our plans against all their bowlers," Holder said. "Obviously we are coming up against some guys who we have never played. In this situation, we need to find how best to play them given the conditions that we have. "We struggled with their slow bowlers, and it's a situation where we need to counteract their slow bowlers in the middle. Those were the guys who really put the strangle on us up front."

having jason holder make these comments instead of the skipper carlos is strange. even more strange is holder being in the starting 11, now this might sound far fetch but is the board loosing faith in carlos and now is looking for someone to take over ?

LAHORE (Dunya News) – West Indies’ batsmen have been reportedly watching Shadab Khan’s bowling videos to better understand him for the next T20. The young leg-spinner took three wickets for just seven runs on his debut.
The West Indies camp appears to be in a spot of bother with the amount of turn Shadab got in first Twenty20. Pakistan secured a six-wicket win over West Indies in the opening game of Caribbean tour.
Sunil Narine, Chadwick Walton and Lendl Simmons had lost their wickets to the young gun. The WI players have started to mull a strategy against Shadab Khan s turn and variations by watching the videos from Pakistan Super League (PSL) and first T20.
The talented leg-spinner took nine wickets in PSL. Also, he was picked by Shahrukh Khan’s Trinbago Knight Riders for the CPL 2017 at a whopping $30,000.
The second T20 between Pakistan and West Indies will be played on March 29 as the tourists lead the three-match series by 1-0.

I am bit surprised the way WE lost this match. I think WE could not handle the youngster Shadab who destroyed them besides the poor fielding that could have restricted Pakistan under 120.
