So Shamsi was not in their league !

BUT about to play TEST for South Africa .

want me to spell that out further Cappo ??

OR you capable of reading between the lines  :-\ 

how can you compare a well trained - managed and coached player with 3 poorly managed players whose  boss changes everyday

I am comparing SPIN ability.

Is Shamsi being overly rewarded ??  :-\

It looks as though South Africa are going to try and prey on Australia's weakness against spin with Keshav Maharaj also called into the squad. I am not sure how successful this will be as they will be bowling on those flat decks in Australia, and touring spinners haven't exactly fared well here in recent years. For my money, I would have gone with an extra pacer in the squad.

Shamsi is, however, a fun spinner to watch.

On a related note, I am pleased that Rilee Rossouw finally gets a chance at the Test level, and also pleased for SA fans that their long national nightmare is over and Van Zyl has been dropped.

SA has done the right thing by picking the youngster. He has the ability to be a great spinner under the right management.  He has lots of work to do in terms of control.  However, he is young and can get better with each match!

So what happens to Phangiso and that other chap that play in CPL.

the fact that we cannot recall the "other chap" name tells you he was not that impressive.  Everyone remembered Shamsi's performance!
