For the second time in under a fortnight, West Indies rising superstar D. Rayne showed persistent determination, rescuing the West Indies from a perilous position and leaving India frustrated once more.

West Indies haven't had someone so willing to occupy the crease for hours upon end since Chanderpaul was dismissed from the team. Rayne's dogged efforts - the ultimate act of individualism in a team cause - has been rightly lauded across the globe with Cricket Windies writer Trinidaddy labelling him as the teams best player.
