87/3 at lunch. A good first session. I would expect Joseph to be given the ball straight after lunch and see if he can't nip out another wicket or two and get into India's long tail.

The ball got onto Kohli much quicker than he anticipated. A good combination of pace and bounce. I was really impressed with the lines he bowled as well as getting good movement. Would love to see what he could do on a fast deck.

As I have previously sated, the only player in that U19 WC squad I felt would do well is Joseph but it is really early days for him as Tests require a greater degree of fitness and variations.

Well done to Joseph and very good wicket.

Bishoo and Chandrika out as expected but feel for the latter, especially when in reality he was not out in the second innings. Would not be surprised with the rise of Chase you have seen the last of those two.

Next 2 sessions are important in setting the tempo for this test.

If Chase can indeed be counted on to be a legit spinning option, it allows Holder to be the fourth seamer - a role he is better suited to. Holder can dry up an end with one of the three quicks bowling in tandem.

Good shout on Delorn, ketch. As a left-arm pacer, he would give the attack more variety. How quick is he bowling these days?
