No idea how Leon Johnson doesn't get selected. Blackwood and Chandrika can thank their lucky stars. Although we all wanted Joseph to play in a three-prong pace attack, we all knew he wouldn't be picked to play. At least there was some good news with Vijay being out injured.

Dig in boys, look to bat out the session, and hopefully put some scoreboard pressure on India.

Maybe they can look to Sri Lanka's win over Australia for inspiration. They were aided by their own bowling debutant in Sandakan. Perhaps Cummins can do the same later in the match.

This is the first time West Indies have batted first at Sabina Park since 2004, when they scored 311 in the first innings against England . That was the Test that will forever be remembered for West Indies being rolled out for 47. Lets hope this Test goes a little better.
