Some jobs allow for game watching, especially if you work in a pub or restaurant, for instance. Can you watch the match at work? Does your boss allow it, or do you have to do it when boss is out? We will go by who is in charge that day, what mood they are in, and what the customers want.

i dont have the kind of job to sit and watch

Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

I don't get to sit. I am mainly waiting tables, with occasional bar tending. When I get to tend the bar I am more able to catch a bit. It would be nice to be paid just to sit and watch, though, wouldn't it? Ha ha.

I also don't have a job that allows me to watch games either unfortunately. In the past for the big games I've booked a few days off work to watch or if that's not been possible then I'll catch up on the scores on the news sites or on an app on the phone, but usually I'll just catch the highlight shows in the evenings depending on hat time I'm home.

Become an Estate Agent, they seem to have unlimited time.

That would never happen in my environment but I am sure staff catch up on the updates as I do sometimes ask certain people for updates.

The vast majority of jobs would not allow that or much time to post in this lovely forum.

I take it you know an estate agent with unlimited time? LOL I guess running your own business of any kind would allow you to be more flexible that way.

Sometimes I take off work too, but I really shouldn't, especially since I'm part time as it is.

I had many jobs in the past where we could watch games in the break room, but then I also had some where we had TV's around, as the jobs related to entertainment. I was working in a chemical company, there was no way we could watch games in there.

I guess it just matters what type of job you have.

I wouldn't have thought that there would be many jobs where they would allow you to sit and watch TV to be honest, and especially when its just a normal game of cricket. In the past when there as been a tournament on such as the Olympics or the world cup it could be allowed I guess, but even then it would only be allowed on at break times or at lunch I would imagine.
