Trinidad and Tobago Under-19 cricketers Kirstan Kallicharan and Keagan Simmons were among the first to benefit from coaching sessions with legend Brian Lara during the blink/bmobile Future Stars Cricket Programme and the pair were eager to soak up anything they could from one of the best batsmen in the world.

Kallicharan, 16, who was once called the next Brian Lara when he scored 404 not out in a 35-over Secondary Schools Cricket League match in 2014, said: “I feel good about the programme because Brian Lara is one of the world’s cricket legends. It’s wonderful for him to share his knowledge with us and it’s a great experience just being around him.”
