The Slog Sweep - Ireland's Weekly Cricket Show caught up with Brathwaite in a fascinating interview where he talks about what went on in that famous final over, what was said between him and Marlon Samuels and how his thought process during those all-important four balls.

A lesser known fact about Brathwaite is his Irish connection, and he talks fondly of his time in Ireland as a professional with Leinster Cricket Club  in Dublin and how it led to him meeting current West Indies head coach, and former Ireland boss, Phil Simmons.

Away from the cricket pitch, Carlos talks about what the win meant to his family watching at home, and the connection between him and pop superstar Rihanna.
