Cricketer, footballer arrested by cops

Former national footballer Shane Calderon and national cricketer Kevon Cooper were arrested early yesterday morning after they got into an argument with the police over where they parked a car in Woodbrook.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. along Baden-Powell Street, one of the side streets off Ariapita Avenue.
The Express was told that Calderon, 30, and Cooper, 27, had parked a car along Baden-Powell Street and began walking off.
Seconds later, they were stopped by a uniformed police officer who told them that they could not park there.

Both men asked why and, according to sources, they were told by the police that it would be illegal for them to do so and they needed to park somewhere else.
