Pakistan's World Twenty20 squad

Pakistan have selected four uncapped players - batsmen Khurram Manzoor and Babar Azam, fast bowler Rumman Raees, and all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz - in their World Twenty20 squad.

I am a huge fan of Babar Azam, he has a very bright future ahead of him. Pakistan's batting looks pretty solid, the loss of Yasir Shah, however, weakens them significantly. For my money, they will do very well just to get out of their tough group.

There's no doubt that Pakistan have got enough talent in that team to get out of the group, but like you say, it's not the easiest and to do so I think will take a bit of luck aswell.

There doesn't seem to be a great deal of pressure on Pakistan from what I'm hearing, and maybe that will help them perform better, not having that burden of expectation other teams will have.

How are these Team placed : in a "Group".

Is is an equation via computer app based on points and ranking  ??

Khurram Manzoor poor performance in the Asia Cup has cost him a place in Pakistan's World T20 squad and been replaced by Ahmed Shehzad - a batsman many felt should have been included in the first place. The board opted against adding Salman Butt to the squad, admitting that they are not comfortable reintegrating him back into the team so soon after the end of his ban for spot-fixing.

I am not so sure about Afridi. I think he should just retire, he is not at his best form for so many years. He can't hit the ball like he used to.
Amir will certainly provide a new edge to bowling. We could see him in form at the Asia cup with his slightly unorthodox bowling.
Malik with his experience will help too.
Butt was unexpected but welcome.

Just for his presence : Pak could be a dark horse in that Group.
