South Africa's World Twenty20 squad

Dale Steyn has been declared fit enough to be named in South Africa's World Twenty20 squad. The 15-man squad features 10 of the players that featured in the last World Twenty20 in 2014. Phangiso, Tahir and Duminy make up the spin attack, joined by the fast bowling of Steyn, Rabada, Morris, Abbott and Wiese.

Vernon Philander and Wayne Parnell miss out, as do both the Morkel brothers.

South Africa squad: Faf du Plessis (capt), Kyle Abbott, Hashim Amla, Farhaan Behardien, Quinton de Kock, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Imran Tahir, David Miller, Chris Morris, Aaron Phangiso, Kagiso Rabada, Rilee Rossouw, Dale Steyn, David Wiese.

Will this finally be the year of South Africa and they shake off their demons and finally win a ICC trophy? The team as always looks strong, but the lack of good spinners is a problem. Phangiso is still untested. The batsmen have been in an irregular streak of form, meaning that the lower order players and all rounders like Duminy and Morris will be very crucial.
