I agree with you to an extent. Chris Gayle was and still is class player and it was evident how much the Windies missed him in the Test Series against Australia. I felt that Craigg Braithwaite wasn't convincing in the first two tests but by the final test he was hitting the middle quite well. Gayle could have even added an extra off-break option as a part-time to the side which would have been healthy addition in the Hobart Test in particular.
