CRICKET: The Sunshine Coast Scorchers' James Bazley has been named as 12th man for the Cricket Australia XI tour squad to face the West Indies in a four-day tour match at Allan Border Field in Brisbane next week.

Bazley was a member of the Cricket Australia XI which featured in the nation-wide Matador Cup one-day series.

The 20-year-old struggled for runs during the competition which saw him play against Sheffield Shield teams.

The match will be the West Indies' first hit-out ahead of the First Test against Australia at Blundstone Arena in Hobart on December 10.
