Another disastrous day for South Africa's batsman as they are skittled out for 214. This is very uncharacteristic for them. Ashwin and Jadeja continue to torment. It is a bit of a worrying sign when even the best touring side gets routed like this.

With no Dale Steyn for South Africa and having already reduced the deficit to just 134, India are in firm control of this match.

As an Indian fan, I loved watching India dominate the day. Every time India plays overseas, they get outclassed by the fast, bouncy pitches so dominating on slow grippy surfaces is really good to see too. It also brings in skills which the Indian players are supposed to be better at.


South Africa are also missing their main bowlers in Steyn and Philander, so that is making it easier for India to capitalise on it.
