The International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed a one-match suspension against West Indies captain Jason Holder for maintaining a slow over-rate in the first One-Day International against Sri Lanka on Sunday.

This is Holder’s second offence in 12 months and as such he has been handed the suspension apart from being fined 40 percent of his match fees.

The rest of the West Indies team members were also fined 20 percent of their match fees after they were found to be two overs short of their required target.

We should get bonus points for finishing most ODI games under 30 overs.
