Jatin Patel Conducts High Performance Camp with Missouri Youth Players

Jatin Patel was in St. Louis on October 10 and 11 conducting Level 1 and Level 2 Coaching Certification courses with coaches from the Missouri Youth Cricket Association (MYCA). Along with certification, Patel also conducted a high performance youth camp with MYCA Cricket Academy youth players that was highly beneficial to both participating players and the coaches.

As part of the High Performance Camp, players received instructions on various batting drills that can enhance their batting skills. Similarly bowlers also received lots of tips to become better bowlers including various ball grips, how to generate spin & swing, etc. Patel also provided a careful evaluations of all the player's individual strengths and weaknesses. He gave each of them specific suggestions on areas of improvement.

On Day 2 of the event, there was a youth 20/20 game that all the participating coaches evaluated together, and Mr. Patel also umpired about 10 overs and used that time on the field to directly help the players with areas of improvement.

Overall, it was a very fruitful 2 days of cricket training. MYCA is thankful for Jatin Patel and ACF for conducting this event.
