Pakistan have slipped to No. 9 in the ODI rankings - if they had been No. 9 three days ago

they would not have qualified for the Champions Trophy  ::LOL::

Well good for Zimbabwe and I hope Pakistan will lose some more odi matches so that the West Indies can be ranked higher than one of the original test playing nations. 

Yeah, I gotta agree. Given the way that Pakistan purposefully avoided scheduling any more ODIs after their series win against Sri Lanka to all buy ensure their qualification, there is no way they would have come off the field if this game actually counted towards the qualification.
