It is the other way around because you almost gave me an heart attack when you said West Indies had 9 points more than Sri Lanka.

According to the ICC Rankings Predictor, if West Indies were to win the series 2-0, they would actually jump ahead of Sri Lanka into seventh place in the rankings.

Gonna be an interesting tour. On paper, WI's the better team, but SL is unpredictable and they prepare weird pitches nowadays. Historically, SL used to be all flat tracks, slow batting and spin. Nowadays, though, SL play fast bowlers and their pitches only turns spin friendly on day 4 or 5.

They're probably analysing our batsmen right now and trying to determine what we're most unable to cope with. Bravo is a bit of a flat-track bully and loves slow, low pitches. My gut tells me guys like Blackwood is the opposite. Dowrich and Paint are anomalies (Paint has a decent record in India).
