“Being an overseas professional in Australia for example, I got to see how professionals from Australia, South Africa, India, England and Bangladesh, Sri Lanka operated. And you know what? QPCC is right up there! On our very own doorsteps we possess world class facilities, have world class coaches, who produced world class cricketers and I see no evidence of that changing. We have international cricketers who are representing WI or the IPL (Indian Premier League) teams one day, (and) taking a flight and representing QPCC the next day with equal passion,” Pollard said.

“Everyone here at QPCC invests so much more than you can possibly realise in supporting the cricketers. I am not saying we must walk around blindly thanking everyone all the time, but keep your head up and greet everyone with a smile.”
