Back in the days when 60 overs was an ODI.

West Indies won the Inaugural World Cup 1975

That Squad !

Well I think it is the West Indies team from the late 70s and 80s that won back to back world cups and went years unbeaten.

You are confusing the ODI team with the Test team. The West Indies ODI team did not go years unbeaten. From 1975-1985, their longest winning streak was 7 matches between 14 January - 4 February, 1984. Their overall record between 1975-1985 was 63 wins, 19 losses, 1 tie.
