The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) vented their frustration with the omission of Albion, Berbice, Guyana and West Indies left arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul from the West Indies touring team to Sri Lanka.

A release from the board said that even though the board has no issue with young Jomel Warrican, it feels strongly that Permaul’s performance for the year so far, his experience and track record are enough for him to earn his selection.

Why not also call for the removal of the West Indies team from international cricket? I am sure on player from Guyana will not be the difference between victory or defeat and so it is neither here nor there for me.
