The first of the five-match ODI series takes place at the magnificent Rose Bowl - arguably the best one-day wicket in the country. England will be looking to carry on their exciting turn around in the short format of the game. Having already beat World Cup runners up New Zealand earlier in the summer, they will be looking to go one better and beat the World Cup winners themselves.

Australia, however, will be very comfortable in facing England, winning nine out of their last 10 ODIs against them. England's last victory over Australia came in January 2014 . The team that day looks completely unrecognisable to the current XI, with only Stokes, Morgan and Buttler in the current ODI squad.

This England ODI team has a seriously weak bowling attack.

Rashid to Burns, Rashid strikes as Burns fizzle out, spoilt for choice and he ended up slicing the ball down the track at waist height,

Rashid happily accepting the gift to break a very decent opening stand.

Rashid to Warner, he's got the breakthrough again! Credit to Morgan, as well as Rashid. Brave enough to toss the ball up,

might have been a googly, Warner went for a drive and it skews off a thick outside edge to short third man

Rashid to Smith, another full toss, another wicket! Would you believe it! Smith is furious with himself. Was a juicy full toss..

What a waste from the Australian captain!

Rashid to Bailey,  and another! Excellent stuff from Rashid. A quicker ball, skids on and just grips a little, Bailey on the back foot

aiming through the leg side, misses his shot and is struck on the back leg in front of middle. Nothing flukey about that one.
