West Indies head coach Phil Simmons has been supervising a training camp for a number of emerging fast bowlers this week at the West Indies High Performance Centre on the Cave Hill campus of the University of the West Indies here.

The key fast bowlers involved in the training camp include:

Ronsford Beaton

Sheldon Cottrell

Jerome Jones

Ray Jordan

What are the players doing in preparation for the Sri Lanka games? Simmons needs to get Bishoo and Permaul to bowl 2 hours of spin to Paint and Bravo every day.

Well good to see bowlers like Sheldon and Beaton in the camp. I hope at least one will be in the up coming squad for the Sri Lankan tour next month.
