Same here. He has such terrible technique, can only bat on flat pitches or when protected down the order, but is such an explosive slogger that he keeps getting picked.

Wow,Vijay really is becoming the big asset for us.He holds stead and fires when needed.He knew Kohli was a bit down today and if he didn't play on through the session,the team would collapse.

Of note during Sri Lanka's innings, Sangakkara became the 11th batsman in Test history to score 10000+ runs against the top 8 teams. Of the 11, only Kallis has a higher average.

Oh come on,if you did know,in the last three years,India and lanka have been like playing each other every other month.
I believe most of his runs would have come against India,because he featured in all of it i reckon.

Over the last 3 years, Sangakkara has played 23 Test matches, only 2 came against India.

For his career, Sanga has played 17 matches against India. For comparison, he has played 23 vs Pakistan, 22 vs England, 17 vs South Africa, 12 vs New Zealand, 12 vs West Indies and 11 vs Australia.
