To be honest I don't think the events over the last 4 days mean a whole lot wrt England being ready for the first test.
Yesterday their bowlers got some good overs in and their batsmen got to feel bat on ball.
IMO the WI could have benefited more by including some youngsters - Shai Hope and Dowrich come to mind plus Bishoo.

Botham regards the current West Indies team as the 'weakest he has ever seen' and expects England to ease to a 3-0 series win – a 6/1 shot with Sky Bet.
The West Indies are without a host of their first-choice regulars, including the injured Chris Gayle and Darren Sammy, and lost their last series in South Africa 2-0 in January.
The Sky Sports commentator said: “I expect England to win this series comfortably. I expect them to gain confidence and the best way to gain confidence is to win.
"I think this is the weakest West Indian side I've ever seen and I don't think I'm on my own with that view either.
"I'll be very surprised if many of the games go beyond day four."

The problem that I have found over the years with the English commentators is that they are NOT close to WI cricket so they really do not know the players.
Botham mentions Sammy who was never a great test match performer for the WI. Gayle has also been in and out the side in the last few years.
They keep focusing on the ones they know in the IPL and those folks have by and large NOT played test cricket regularly
