Out of favor West Indies opening batsman Kieron Powell is currently playing First Class level in Sri Lanka. The 25 year old is representing Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club where he debut with 9 in his first match.

What is Kieron Powell doing in Sri Lanka when the WICB regional 4 day tournament is taking place? Doesn't Powell have an interest in representing the West Indies in test cricket again? With the WICB rule about playing in their regional competition to be eligible for selection then I guess Powell will not be chosen any time soon.
