There are lots of batsmen scoring runs in the Regional 4 day so there is no shortage to choose from, pick 1. You have to reward players performance in a tournament in which you scout the regional team.
After standing a day in the 1st slip or legslip, there is no way you go out a play a shot, first ball, on such an easy batting track. At least not for a highly rated batsman as Bravo is!
Also, Croft said it best "you don't send a night watchman with 9 overs to go"

WI batsmen should be using these games as warm ups and to fine tune their skills and form instead they are failing and looking like real chupidees.

Lara scored like seven centuries in a row in regional games at fifteen years old. In his twenties, for Trinidad, vs Jamaica, he famously scored a fast 180 (team made 237 total), dominating everyone.
If you are on the West Indies team, you need to be dominating at the regional level. Batting like how Powell and Darren Bravo have been batting (Bravo just made a duck) is just insulting and disrespectful.

Why are you surprised? With the advent of curried goat cricket, the artistry of batting has been replaced with yam-licking entertainment. This is what curried goat cricket is doing all over the world, not just in the Windies.

T&T 59/2 & 140/8 Dec. Bravo c Lesporis b Peters 8. Edged and caught at second slip. Bravo's out again. In the slips again.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
