Amit Jaggernauth has been contemplating retiring from first-cricket for a while.
Yesterday, the 30-year-old off-spinner made up his mind.
Jaggernauth, who was named in the T&T squad for the Regional Four-day Championship semi-final against the Windward Islands bowling off tomorrow at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, told the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board yesterday that he has decided to call it a day.
The announcement comes days after the off-spinner equalled Rangy Nanan’s record of most wickets by a T&T player in the regional first-class competition.
