WORCESTER, England (CMC) -- Former West Indies batsman Brendan Nash top-scored but failed to ignite a run chase as Kent suffered a 125-run defeat at the hands of Worcestershire in their County Championship Division two match yesterday.
Chasing 226 for victory on the fourth and final day, Nash led with a knock of 28 counting four boundaries but could not avert a collapse as Worcestershire bowled out Kent for 140.
Darren Stevens contributed 27 to the chase.
In his first innings, Nash added just two to his overnight score of one before he was deceived by a short delivery from Jack Shantry.
Scores: Worcestershire 224 & 270, Kent 229 & 140.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
