Leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo grabbed 6-71 to finish with match figures of 15-149 and put Guyana in a wonderful position to register their first win in the final round of this year’s Regional four-day cricket match when the penultimate day of the contest against Trinidad & Tobago ended at Providence yesterday.

Bishoo crowned a sensational comeback after being dropped for the last round and will hope that with the match in the balance, the batsmen don’t waste his effort today on a last day pitch expected to offer assistance to the spinners.
Bishoo said he had nothing to prove to anyone. “I did not have anything to prove to anyone but myself. I am very happy to be back in the team and for such an achievement.

Bishoo, who fell one wicket short of the record 16 wickets in a match set by T&T leg-spinner Rajendra Dhanraj who took 16 against the Leewards in 1996, captured his 12th five-wicket haul and his second 10-wicket haul following his 9-78 in the first innings which is a Guyana record.

yeah..he has got huge talent, but sadly he is not making it big in the international arena.I took a liking to his bowling during 2010 Caribbean T20..He was near perfect in that league.
P.S : I hate it that it was he who stopped Sachin Tendulkar from reaching his 100th ton in the second inning..it was supposed to land in a fan's hand, but sachin failed to pull that delivery..!!

I must admit that I don't know of Dhanraj and he must not have made it in the international stage and of such I don't consider Bishho achievements as monumental

Well played Bishoo! What a comeback. I hope this is not just a fluke and he keeps at it. It'd be awesome to have him in form. I'm not convinced by Permaul, he could add more variety to the attack in the test side IF he can get in form.
