Marlon Samuels and fast bowler Sheldon Cottrell are expected to be included in Jamaica's final eleven for their do-or-die WICB Four-day Championship clash against Combined Campuses and Colleges (CCC), starting today.
The duo, who recently returned from the ICC World Twenty20 with the West Indies, were earlier this week drafted in the team's 13-man squad for the match which will be played at Three W's Oval, Barbados.
Leg-spinner Odean Brown and young fast bowler Nicholson Gordon are the players that have made way.
losing streak
Jamaica are coming off an uncharacteristic three-match losing streak and are presently fifth in the points standing with 44. This is two behind fourth place CCC. The winners of this match will join front runners Trinidad and Tobago (72 points) and the Windward Islands and Barbados on 65 each in the final four.

Samuels is set to add experience to Jamaica's inconsistent batting line-up. The other batsmen, who have been in and out of the team in recent years are openers John Campbell and Jon-Ross Campbell, Nkrumah Bonner, Jermaine Blackwood and André McCarthy.
Cottrell, meanwhile, is expected to take the place of fellow pacer Brian Buchanan, who since his return to team three matches ago has failed to make an impression.
