Captain Sammy's blitz was concluded by twin sixes off the bowling of seamer James Faulkner, who 24 hours earlier had revealed at a press conference that he "did not particularly like the West Indies team."
"We backed ourselves to score 180-odd. Chris and Dwayne Smith set us up and we are really pumped up for the win. It was really nice to see Faulkner bowling the last over. A lot of things were said before this match and you never wake up a sleeping lion," said Sammy.
"Our team was up for this game. Chris wanted to stay until the end. He has not been scoring at the rate he usually has been scoring but we were pumped up for this game. You would have seen the celebrations.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Faulkner set up a nice win for the West Indies.
He talked the talk but could not back it up.

Faulkner had it coming! The Windies have been sleeping for far too long, and now, the Lion has woken up. It will make a meal of any creature that disrespects it. I am an Indian, and yet, I am very excited about the success the West Indies team has been enjoying of late. It bodes well for international Cricket. I look forward to a time, not far off, when the balance of power in international Cricket will shift towards the Caribbean.
