A diabolical batting performance sunk Guyana to a crushing seven-wicket loss last night against the Combined Colleges and Campuses (CCC) at the 3Ws Oval on the final day of their fourth round four-day cricket match to give the host their fourth consecutive win at this venue.
Guyana lost their last five wickets for 23 runs in 43 minutes after Lunch in another pathetic display of senseless batting to catapult to 173 all out and their third loss in the seven-team competition.
Off-spinner Ryan Austin (4-22) took nine wickets in the match and got support from Akeem Dewar (4-61) to deny the Guyanese their second win in as many years against the Students.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
