Cheteshwar Pujara has said he has begun to bowl in the nets so that he can add another aspect to his game. Pujara has increasingly become a popular choice for a batting slot in the Indian ODI side, but the team management has resisted playing him. His only two ODIs have come against Zimbabwe when most of the senior batsmen were resting. The popular dissatisfaction around Pujara's non-inclusion reached a height when former captain Sunil Gavaskar almost alleged "favouritism" when India didn't play Pujara in what was an inconsequential match against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Cheteshwar Pujara is a very good batsman in the Tests. This can be seen from his record in Test cricket where he averages over 60 even though he bats at number 3. In today's cricket, you have to be good at more then one discipline and so Pujara has started sharpening his bowling skills so that he gets in the reckoning for other formats too.

I have no idea why they're not playing this guy. I'd have played him in a jiffy myself.
And oh god @ "sharpening bowling skills" - please don't, guy. Are you looking to be Jadeja/Bopara 2.0? Holy crap. Just concentrate on your batting, you have an excellent career ahead on that departement.
