The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has confirmed that 228 players have registered for the 2014 draft, which will take place in Kingston, Jamaica, on Thursday April 3.
The number includes 121 overseas players, more than five times the number that entered the 2013 draft.
Over 100 Caribbean players have thrown their hats into the ring in the hope of earning a contract to take part in the second edition of the tournament.
A CPL press release yesterday stated that 98 per cent of the players from the 2013 edition of the competition will be back this year.
Players from 11 nations, including Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and, for the first time, England will be part of the tournament
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
