The West Indies will not have to worry about English batsman Joe Root when the three match Twenty/20 Series begins on Sunday.
Root has been ruled out of the series with a broken thumb and could miss the upcoming World Twenty/20 Championship as well.England's first group match is against New Zealand on March 22.
It means Ian Bel, who last played Twenty20 cricket in January 2011, is in line for a place in the World T20 squad. England's first group match is against New Zealand on March 22.
Root who suffered the broken thumb in the deciding 3rd ODI in Antigua on Wednesday has returned home to see a specialist.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

^Haha yeah.
Well IDK if they're gonna miss him in T20s all that much. But again, it's all looking pretty bleak for them anyway. But still Lumb, Hales, Morgs etc. should themselves make a pretty solid T20 XI.
